So, I might be doing my first ever Artist Alley sitting next year for Anime South. To say I'm a little nervous is an understatement. For one thing, I have to fight my way through school and work responsibilities just to get my work ready, finish my website, and create a few new things before it comes time. Then I have to work out details like pricing and where I'm getting my prints done (I've seen prints with great quality before, but I have no idea which shop the artist went to). I'll want to be completely ready a month ahead just to be sure it's all coming together right.

But then I think -- this is a con where I usually DO things. I attend panels and watch movies and go to events. So if I'm at my art table, I can't do those things, and I'd really hate to miss something I wanted to see.

But I've meaning to participate in an Artist Alley ever since my very first con, so.... Maybe I'll finally get to try it.

I think deciding which art pieces I want to offer will be the hardest. I want to refine a few that I already have and create a couple of new ones, of course. I'm just not sure which of my current pieces are popular. And I know fanart is popular at cons but, aside from my chibis, I haven't done much of that. =O
