Now let me explain what this is all about. Our final costume project was take a piece of classical literature and displace the time period or genre into another then design the costumes for whatever characters we liked, as long as we included the main ones.
I decided to do Sherlock Holmes. I'm in the midst of reading the many stories, and I thought it best to work on something I was enjoying anyway. Holmes enthusiasts need not be upset. *laugh* It's a one time thing and, anyway, I'm one too. ^_^
On with it then! What you see is the Sherlock Holmes characters placed into a Futuristic/Gen-X genre. Slightly comic book style I might add. I doubt a normal writer would dress poor Watson the way I did. LOL!
As I've comment before, this is a wonderful series! Yes, I went through and ed them all... I want to steal Holmes' boots in the 3rd version. ^^Now I have to give the rest of your gallery a look-see...
